Application instructions for Aalto students
The application round for USchool minor studies is in May. To check if late applications are allowed, you may contact the contact persons of each school.
Each of the participating departments has a right to choose five Master's students to the USchool program. The list of the students selected to the program will be published on the Community page when the USchool starts in September. All of the applicant students will be informed of the selection results via email in August at the latest.
In Aalto, the minor consists of 20-25 ECTS, and in University of Helsinki min. 25 ECTS.

In case you haven't completed your bachelor studies include also plan and schedule for the completion.
Students with completed bachelor studies and who are studying service design and engineering at Computer Science or user-centred design at Information Networks have the highest priority in the selection process.
Also, former study progress, grades, as well as the apparent motivation in the application affects the selection.

Description and phase of the current and former studies including major and minor studies.
Plan how you will include USchool studies to your degree for example as a minor or into your advanced studies. Confirm your application with your faculty's student services. Other than cognitive science students must have a certificate of the approval of their plan.
